Composite Fillings
Patients who have tooth decay, also known as a cavity, may benefit from a composite filling. With this procedure, we numb the immediate area using a local anesthetic, and then we remove the damaged areas of the tooth to prevent further decay. Once the tooth is prepared, we place the filling material into the space. Finally, we harden the filling material and smooth out the surface of the tooth to make sure your bite is even. The composite material is tooth-colored, so it will blend in nicely with the rest of the tooth.
